Hi everybody!
Long time no see… I know I haven’t been posting much lately but during the Christmas holidays it’s been hard to find time. This year we enjoyed Christmas to the fullest. We had a great time with our friends and families and we also enjoyed the time we’ve spent just the two of us.
Today I wanna write a bit about New Year’s resolutions. If we’re all honest with ourselves we have to admit that at the end of a year we’re all analyzing our achievements and failures of the past 12 months. And with thinking about our past failures usually comes the thought of improvement in the year to come . . we like to call them New Year’s resolutions.
As short-lived as they may seem to some of us, it is very important that each year we find some resolutions we are able to stick to. To be able to make a specific resolution means that we have to evaluate ourselves in a way many of us don’t normally do. Through this self-reflection, we’re able to find our flaws and improve upon them, because self-improvement is the key to success.
New Year’s resolutions are a bit like babies: They’re fun to make but extremely difficult to maintain. That’s why I thought about some tips which will help you keep your New Year’s resolutions:
- Be Realistic
- Plan Ahead
- Decide how you will deal with temptation
- Talk About It
- Reward Yourself
- Track Your Progress
- Don’t Beat Yourself Up
- Stick to It
- Keep Trying
Since I’m very passionate about personal growth I made just one resolution this year and it’s to challenge myself! Challenge myself at work by finishing my courses, by changing my lifestyle, by setting my priorities, by following my wife duties, by having a right mindset, by working on my relationship with God, by making sure I have the right focus, …
I think about a new challenge for each month, for example this month I challenged myself to not buy anything (cloths, bags, make-up, …) and to not eat meat (I know the latter one sounds strange but after Christmas I really needed a break from eating meat, trust me). And it’s not so much about not buying stuff or not eating meat it’s more about my self-discipline and my ability to achieve the goals I’m setting, because in the end these two are my goal.
Thanks for stopping by! I wanna wish all of you a happy, healthy, and successful year!

Really inspiring words, my dear!
Over the past years I kind of resigned to the idea of new year’s resolutions, telling myself that it’s cheesy to set goals for the following year because all people do and they hardly stick to them. This year however, I decided to not find excuses for not doing anything for my personal growth, I made a list of all the things that I want to do this year. Even if it’s something as small as painting or drawing more.
I personally loved your idea of splitting your goals for all months and I hope that you will be able to stick to all of your goals and plans, as well as me.
Here’s to 2016- may it be filled with achievements and success!
P.S. I love your blog <3

This design is wicked! You most certainly know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job.
I really loved what you had to say, and more than that,
how you presented it. Too cool!
